We invited families to take part in our annual family survey during Terms 3 and 4 last year. This is to ensure we continue to provide services that are meeting the needs of you and your family. Approximately 45% of the families (189 families) have given us feedback through the survey.

Our 2022 survey data indicated that 97% of families perceived that the program was meeting their child’s needs, while 96% of families were either highly satisfied or satisfied with the progress their child was making. 99% of families agreed that Telethon Speech & Hearing staff were approachable and professional, with 86% of families strongly agreeing. 97% of families reported that they felt supported by the staff.
We appreciate all families who took the time to express both positive and constructive feedback to us. Our Leadership Team has been working on responding to suggestions.

For example:
1. In our school programs you asked us for clearer information on contacting staff. We have revised and refreshed our Welcome Packs to make this clearer. These are being progressively rolled out across Talkabout and Outpost.

2. Many of you mentioned challenges with parking. We acknowledge this can be tricky on certain days and will continue to look at potential solutions.

On busy (event) days, families and clients can make use of the East car park (off Dodd Street), while another option for parents is to make use of the Bold Park Community School car park, which is accessed off Powis Street. Both car parks are marked on the map below.
